Dimension Pro - instruments not showing

I have the latest update from November, but even that didn't help an issue that came out of nowhere: When I click the keyboard icon in a track, I no longer have an option to choose which patch I want to use. Did I accidentally disable something? Has anyone else had this happen and know how to resolve it?

In Dim Pro 1.5, I click the slot within the plug-in to get the program browser (where it says "Empty Program" by default; right above E1 . . .E4).  Clicking the little keyboard icon in the track area just brings up the plug-in UI.

Not sure if newer versions work the same way.
