I downloaded an amp sim called Teaser_HV4, which is an amp sim reissue for the popular Diezel VH4 amp. I put it exactly where my other VSTs are stored and scanned and the plugin does not show up. I know I am doing something right though because it shows up in Reaper. I included screenshots from Reaper and Cakewalk. Any help would be appreciated.

I was just adding the direct folders cause I was running out of ideas and was trying anything. Does it matter that I do not see a VST file in the folder, just a .dll. But like I said Reaper finds it fine and has it listed in the VST menu.

Is it a .vst3 file or a .dll?  If the latter, I think it needs to not be in a VST3 folder/subfolder but in the vstplugins path.
