tfontenot
I downloaded an amp sim called Teaser_HV4, which is an amp sim reissue for the popular Diezel VH4 amp. I put it exactly where my other VSTs are stored and scanned and the plugin does not show up. I know I am doing something right though because it shows up in Reaper. I included screenshots from Reaper and Cakewalk. Any help would be appreciated.
Byron Dickens
Probably not the problem, but there is no need to add any of the subfolders to your scan paths. I couldn't even find a link for that VST.
tfontenot
I was just adding the direct folders cause I was running out of ideas and was trying anything. Does it matter that I do not see a VST file in the folder, just a .dll. But like I said Reaper finds it fine and has it listed in the VST menu. Xoo
Is it a .vst3 file or a .dll? If the latter, I think it needs to not be in a VST3 folder/subfolder but in the vstplugins path.
