TheSteven Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Interesting footnote on linked web page: Quote Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP acted as legal counsel to Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. 4 3

jude77 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 It looks like all the head people at Presonus are staying on, which I take as a good sign, but these kinds of mergers always make me a bit nervous. 2

Sander Verstraten Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Is Fender owning any other brands with a lot of overlap in portfolio? A quick search mostly brings up other guitar brands 1

Same here , as soon as a brand is doing good , a bigger shark sees it as a rescue wheel , why can't they just stay independant , long term fun is better that fake short term security and money 2
antler Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Maybe Fender models will get added to Ampire? 1
Sander Verstraten Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Keep an eye out for that lifetime subscription... 2 1 3
abacab Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) PreSonus already gives away Studio One 5 Artist with every interface and controller they sell. And beginning with S1 Artist 5, it loads 3rd party VST without buying any add-ons for plugin support... Edited November 1, 2021 by abacab
antler Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Studio One 5 Artist with every guitar sold too? That could actually be a huge business opportunity. 2 2
abacab Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 If Fender does pull a Gibson on PreSonus , at least I still have my Cakewalk lifetime + Ableton Live... 1
paulo Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Looks like it could be renamed for 2023.........Studio Gone. 4
