bayoubill
I've been using the AZR3 Hammond B3 organ plugin and love that sound but during playback I hear pops and clicks that are not there with Dim Pro or any other organ synth. I know this was addressed awhile back but I can't seem the find that thread. Does anyone have any info on this plugin or problem with plugins? I suppose I could break down and buy a B3 vst but don't want to spend more money. I've very broke from buying a new guitar Thanks for any help! msmcleod
Some plugins are just heavy on CPU, so you can try increasing your ASIO buffer size. However, some other's just don't play well with Cakewalk. I usually use the "Load with JBridge wrapper" option on the plugin (you'll need JBridge though). If it still clicks & pops with this option, then it's genuinely just CPU hungry and you'll need to up your ASIO buffer size. If it is a CPU thing, up the buffer size then freeze the track - you can then put your ASIO buffer back to normal.
bitflipper
Freeze the organ track, as Mark suggests. If there are still clicks in the rendered audio, re-do the freeze with the "Fast Bounce" option turned off.
chuckebaby
Have you tried bumping up the midi buffer from 250 to 500 ?
bayoubill
Thanks guys! I'm using each suggestion and I no longer hear the pops. I'll check it out this afternoon. The buffers at 250 and I took off fast bounce
