Nice song - guitar tones sound great to me, as does the mix overall.

Edit - I listened to the most recent version

Thanks for listening antler.

Dreamy. Sounds good.  One thing that kinda stuck out though:   ~2:30  sudden volume change in the right channel.   But could be just me and my ears.

Thanks for the feedback Bjorn, I'll check out that spot.

This is a beautiful piece. I guess I'm listening to the most recent mix because to my ear the guitar is spot-on with nothing to detract from the wonderful playing and the absolutely gorgeous tones. The whole thing just rocks. The balance in the rhythm section is just drool-worthy.

Many thanks Kevin &  glad you enjoyed the listen.

What a great song with so many layers. Very nice listen on my phones, everything sits nicely. My only thing is my usual dislike of the compressed clicky drum tones, that's nothing new, not a fan of newer drum kit sounds. Excellent playing as always.

Thanks Kurt, my next album project may feature a different drummer who has a more acoustic sound.

Outstanding music!  The entire production is first class, and it raises the bar for the rest of us.  Keep it up!

Outstanding writing, arranging, playing, production, mixing, mastering....this genre is one of my favorites....Steely Dan meets Return to Forever ( i mean that as a truly high compliment)....the clean guitar is beautiful and the treated electrics are perfect....if you have time could you list what software, plugins, etcetera you utilized?? ????

Thanks Larry, I appreciate it. Not much on this project, light eq on the tracks, mostly hpf/lpf using DMG's eQuick, the clean guitar was a  Kemper recorded spdf, a reverb ( IK Sunset) a delay (Soundtoys EchoBoy) nothing on the 2 bus.  I mastered with a small amount of broad eq using Acustica's Opal followed by Ozone's limiter.
