YNWBUGNAR
I've been working on a project on cakewalk and i have two audio tracks that are completely identical. The volumes were perfectly fine at first but after closing the program, one of the two tracks is much lower in volume and quality than the other. Is there a way to fix this? RBH
Select track - Process audio > gain. - Or select Track hold ctrl and drag in the track space upwards and you can add - I think up to 6db gain. You can use Channel tools as well. If this a stereo track - then use process audio Gain or Channel tools to offset left or right channel from the other. John Vere
Copy the lower level track to a new audio track and see if it now sounds correct. Might be you have toggled pro channel or ? Lots of things come to mind but a fresh audio track should be normal sound by default. Edited October 12, 2021 by John Vere
Andres Medina
Yes, it's not normal at all to see changes in volume after closing and reopening the project. May something else happened before exiting?
