cclarry Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 (edited) TAIPEI is here for reel. Find out about the first step in our journey into analogue tape modelling. TAIPEI is a reel to reel plugin made to deliver strong analogue character to your mixes in the form of a 16 track 2” tape machine for the tracks and a stereo track 1/4” tape machine for the master buss. TAIPEI STUDIO TAPE RECORDER could be the most true and dynamic tape-in-the-box effect yet. Hidden Symmetry Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 LA have good products but unfortunately it's tied to Acustica & as usual a buggy release. This needs the latest version of N4 which is only available for the player version. It will likely crash if you're using N4!
tom Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 This will be stellar if anything like their other products

There's a workaround for the full N4 install problem but be careful if you try because you might lost you're unofficial 3rd party libraries. I'm in no rush so will wait until it's fixed properly.
Wrath of Maitreya Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Issues have now been fixed and Taipei is the dog's gonads. Don't demo unless you're prepared to buy. It has the tape thing in droves. My opinion. 1
tom Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Better than TAIP for me, Taipei is the real deal when dialled in just right, way more organic sounding than most 1
