Increasing speed in an individual audio track

I have a tambourine part I made using Sharine that I would like to speed up.  I don't want to change the tempo for the whole project.  I just want to take an 8 bar measure of this part and speed it up and then copy/paste it throughout the entire song.

Any ideas?

When using the smart tool, you can use CTRL + SHIFT to stretch the clip to make it shorter:
