Just a little suggestion that would help with organization. I think this would help especially for those using big templates.

This has been requested multiple times going back 10 years if you search the forums

I'll add my name to this feature request. My standard template is about 500 tracks and not only would help with organization, but also help with the amount of scrolling I have to do  (even with one level of folders it alot).

While this request isn't necessarily off the cards, due to the way folders were originally implemented, it's in no way trivial.

However, in the meantime, for large projects you could consider using Track Manager presets. They are per-project presets allowing you to hide groups of tracks, so you only see the ones you're focusing on at any point in time. 

You can also combine them with Screensets, with each Screenset using a different preset (i.e. Screenset 1 = all, Screenset 2 = strings, Screenset 3 = brass etc. ), so you can quickly switch between them.
