Docking disable/turn off

Hey, I searched to see if that was discussed before but didnt find anything.

Is there a way or could  you please allow for disabling docking. When you like to move your windows around it's gets totally annoying if you dont want them to dock.

Actually I never came in a situation where I needed  a docking function.

I too requested this years back. The feature is indeed annoying.

Until then, hold CTRL while moving a window, this will supress the docking.

Why don't they offer the opportunity to disable docking, especially for users acting floating windows

  I would like the default action to not dock unless CTRL is held down.
