Dave Maffris
For some reason I can no longer update Bandlab Assistant. I get an error and the program becomes inoperable, in that I cannot get into settings or update my software. I can update CbB online, but not with the Bandlab Assistant tool. This is recent, and my only changes were Windows 7 Pro updates that occur from time to time on my machine. I click the update button, and it says "update failed, please try again." However clicking the update button does nothing, I have to close the program. If you can help, please let me know, thanks.
msmcleod
Uninstall BandLab Assistant, and download/install the latest from here: https://www.bandlab.com/products/desktop/assistant
Cookie Jarvis
I had the same problem. I just closed BA, right-clicked and chose to run as admin, then reopened BA and it updated just fine...my DAW runs on Win7 Ultimate. Bill
HIBI
I had same problem updating to v4.0.0 from v3.3.0. (About updating to v5.0.1 from v4.0.0 was no problem.) I just downloaded latest installer of BandLab Assistant and then installed it without uninstalling old BandLab Assistant. It's works. FYI: Probably you can not quit BandLab Assistant from Gear icon after Update Failed. But you can quit from right click menu on Task tray icon. (or kill task in the Task manager.) Dave Maffris
Thanks, everyone. I had to uninstall it and re-download the latest version. Trying to update it with "run as administrator" did not make a difference. I used to be able to update with a simple click, but we'll see at the next update what gives. All set now, though, thanks.
