How to make the time bar line go back to the start when song is finished

When I play a midi after it is complete the time bar line keeps on going until I click stop.  How do you get it to automatically go back to the starting point?

More your Now to where you want your starting point to be.  I think opening a MIDI file, this is at the start.

Enable the following in the track view menu: Options

“On stop, Rewind to Now Marker”
“Stop at Project End”

It doesn’t. It’s not a media player it’s a recording DAW. You are expected to be awake and in control.

Sounds like you need to enable the "Stop at Project End" option:

But what the op is asking about is that they can stand 10’ from the computer and Cakewalk will stop and rewind to the beginning when it reaches the end. All those toggles still require human interactions
