Show console to the left of the tracks

I can't figure out how to get a console panel to the left of my track view. It used to default to that, and I can't get it back.

It’s part of your workspace set up. 
it’s just been minimized use the double arrow to open it again.

What double arrow? Oh, I see. Next to the double arrow is a menu. When I select Mix, I get the option I'm looking for. Thanks!
