I’m saying most of these MIDI packs are meant for percussive (piano) sounds. There are only a few that work well with the pipe organ or string machine, for instance. So I’m not sure how the majority of those packs will work with pads.

Still, I guess the more percussive presets like the Bösendorfer will work well with most MIDI packs, but I don’t know about “Cinematic Pads”. 
I’m actually quite interested to know the sample size of that Bösendorfer grand, as it might be the reason for me to get the expansion. 
Toontrack have always been good at sampling pianos.

Remember, TT lets you install these as a demo so you can hear it all. It just goes out of tune  every once in a while. If I get time today I will down load it.
