Bigkap
Hi, I just got their recording bundle. I have set up ASIO and can hear playback. But I cannot record using the microphone or, my guitar. Can someone point me in the right direction and I admit I have dabbled in the past but, compared to the group, I am a complete novice. Thanks Steve
0 John Vere
All audio interfaces have support pages with videos and instructions on how to set them up and get started. Every interface is different. Start buy following the manufactures instructions and learning how your interfaces works. Example it might use a software mixer that you need to set up. There are lots of getting started Tutorial's you should watch as well. Good luck , it won't take you long to figure out the basics if you watch the videos and most certainly post here when you get stuck. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
0 Bigkap
Hi John, Thanks for that and much appreciated and I will refresh my memory by watching. Its just I know the very basics but I can get the Evo 4 to playback but not record. I know that some people use the Evo 4 with Cakewalk and wondered if they had a similar problem and how they rectified it. Thanks Steve
0 John Vere
My latest video explains exactly how to set up Cakewalk with your interface. Make sure your preference settings match those in the video and I also show you how to arm the track to record.
