Am I right you need the iLok dongle for this? Otherwise this seems like a very good deal.

The dongle costs about 50. Add that to the 50 of the plugin and it is 100. Which is the same as the IK one. Without the trouble of an extra USB dongle.

You are correct.  Slate plugins require the physical iLok if you are not on their "Subscription".  Only the Sub
Plugins use the iLok Cloud
