Jyde Da Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 The sound of the software metronome is being recorded along with the piano. When I cut off the metronome sound during playback I can still hear the metronome in the background on the piano track. Does this have something to do with being on the same stereo output channel, If so what should be the setting of the metronome for sound output to prevent it from bleeding into the actual recording? J.
John Vere Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 It would help if you supplied more info. Like what audio interface are you using, does it have a loopback function? Is the piano a real piano you recorded with a mike? Are there other audio tracks or just midi?
Gswitz Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 This is usually bc the microphone is sensitive enough to catch the sound coming from the headphones. If so, play louder or turn down your headphones. 1
