Updated Installation Stalls

I'm trying update to the latest version of Bandlab (Cakewalk_by_BandLab_Update_Setup_27.04.0.144). It opens and unpacks ok but then hangs up on the installation. I've tried a couple of different methods but it still stalls at the same place. I have let it go for up to 30 minutes before killing the process with Task Manager.  Is there a work-around or does this require an uninstall followed by a fresh install? My current working version is 2021.01 (Build 098, 64 bit)
