Aaron Keith Garceau
There shouldn't be any noise when no audio is present/playing. This only seems to be occurring on this one session, so I have no idea what's going on. The video is noisy to begin with with dogs in the background etc, but I think it still shows what I'm trying to explain. Those busses output to my mixer and are always outputting that noise for some reason, when it should normally be dead silent. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong? Or is there a good way to start a new session and transfer over the files/settings? link to video if it doesn't show up: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rvbOwI13f1ltbqlq_iB1pezo8WbdE5wE/view?usp=sharing
msmcleod
What is being routed to Bus F? Does it have input echo on it, or does it have a high gain plugin on it (e.g. a guitar effects), or a plugin with analog modelling on it?
Aaron Keith Garceau
I have ezdrummer tracks routed to bus F (Drums). But all busses are outputting the noise, and the plugins are affecting the noise, (ie. compression raising the noise floor). Each bus outputs to a pair of channels to sum on the mixer. This issue only seems to be with this session, never encountered it before. Edited April 25, 2021 by Aaron Keith Garceau
