Marc Bynum
Looking for some recommendations on reverb plugins for strings and percussions as I'm starting off making cinematic and epic orchestra music. Nothing super fancy or expensive, but easy to use for beginners. I'm currently using Spitfire Labs, BBC Discover, Intimate Strings and Epic Percussions as well as the free version of Kontakt Player. My future libraries will include Abbey Road One Legendary Low Strings, Nucleus, Areia and The Grandeur.
jackson white
Recently looked into a few reverb options for a project with strings in it (smaller ensemble, not full blown orchestral) and this one stood out. https://www.liquidsonics.com/software/seventh-heaven/ Good bang for the buck, to the point where I plan to buy the Professional version. FWIW, had been using plates and convolution verbs, but this one got there pretty quickly and just sounded 'right'.

I'd check these out for free and see if you feel like you actually need something else. https://www.meldaproduction.com/MCharmVerb https://www.meldaproduction.com/MConvolutionEZ Reverb settings will always depend on the source. It is pretty common to increase the pre-delay for reverb on strings so you get the up-frontness of the dry recording and then the reverb on the sound/tail. Starship Krupa
I consider iZotope/Exponential Audio Phoenix Stereo Reverb to be the last reverb I'll need for a long while. It goes on sale from time to time for $10. Meldaproduction MTurboReverbLE is also great (I got it in a bundle). Wait for it to come around in one of their half off sales, sign up for their newsletter, and use a referral coupon (mine is MELDA1923165) and you can get it for about €50.
