Platinum VSTs missing from Bandlab version

Hi,  I'm finally trying to get to grips with the Bandlab version of Cakewalk (I previously used Platinum) but it seems to have a lot less in terms of VSTs

 I  use SI string section but I can find no reference to it anywhere 

Can anyone tell me if that because its just not available anymore?

And, if that's the case can anyone recommend a reasonably prices VST for strings please?

So much stuff is missing because this version is FREE. ?

When you installed Cakewalk did you opt to install the Studio Instruments. If you did, select sort by manufacturer and see if they are there. Otherwise you can use Bandlab Assistant to download them.

As for all the other stuff, install Platinum and then this version. The Platinum stuff will then be available.

Yes, Studio Instruments is a free separate download for the BandLab version.

Open Bandlab Assistant > Apps tab, down arrow to to the right of “Open”> install addons.
