Nomad BT Stereo imager license issue

Sleetah2000

Question

Has anybody else seen the following warning.   It just started popping up during the last few days, during project load.

image.png.332a281cd4898f519a85ba8d14ac67ec.png

This has been popping up in all projects that contain BT-stereo-imager by Nomad, widely used since my SPLAT days.  True to its word, the warning bypasses this effect (and, I assume all other resident Nomad plugins).  I’m currently upgraded to latest greatest on CbB, and Win 10.  I also tried porting it through J-bridge in an act of desperation, but the first attempt did not improve my situation and I'm skeptical whether any settings would help.

Any suggestions?  Thanks

May be an install problem.

I just tested and it worked fine in CbB.

I have X2a/3e Producer, SONAR Platinum and CbB installed using all defaults.

If you removed the version of SONAR which included the BT bundle it may have messed up the license.

It may be possible to re-install to recover without performing a clean install but make sure to install CbB last to insure the shared folders are up to date.

WRT Don't Crack and the bundled BT plug-ins the email they sent out is memorialized in this thread http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3699781

Thanks for contacting us and detailing your concern for Cakewalk and Blue Tubes plug-ins provided with purchase and integrated into the DAW.

Our team have been made aware of the closure of the Sonar brand and the many requests around the web and through forums of those wishing to upgrade to the full versions, for use in other DAW, should they wish to switch...

Currently our Nomad Factory products are available through end of year at up-to 80% off, so now is your best time to get low prices on stock before the turn of 2018.  See our dealers list here.

But that said, you may of course still utilize your plug-ins in the DAW as is, they will still work as your DAW too, for many years to come!

If you would like to upgrade, we are happy to offer a path to the Blue Tubes v3 Bundle at further discount (only $49, instead of current $79 and list "$399") on view of your Sonar purchase receipt, which you may attach in reply here.  We will then provide a one time, one use coupon for discount purchase via our dealer DontCrack.com.

The Nomad Factory team.

Best regards,

Don't Crack routinely puts the Nomad plug-ins on sale.

There has been at least one important update since the BT bundle was added to SONAR.

Thanks for both responses.  This got me away from thinking of this as an OS or Manufacturer problem.  I'm relieved and little embarrassed to admit that this was entirely self-inflicted and recoverable.

I had been chasing down a problem with a flaky chain preset (BT-stereo was embedded) over several days.  I've since resolved that issue, but during the course of my "troubleshooting",  I had applied the J-wrap load option on BT-stereo.  This was the sole cause of the reported "warning" message.  Because this was over a number of days, I had conflated the chain preset issue with the "warning" message.

After reading @Scook post, I fired up my Splat installation for the first time in about 2 years and realized that the problem only existed in CbB.
