Where's my MIDI?

I just reinstalled my cakewalk from a disk (I know, how old fashioned!). It was all working fine on my old computer but now on my new computer its saying there's no MIDI. Where are they? I thought everything was installed autom atically. I have tried to attached MIDI files, but there are none to choose from

What that is telling you is that you have not made any MIDI output selections. Not at my computer but look in Preferences/MIDI and see what's available to you. If your running Win10 you should at least have a midi playback synth show up. Choose that.
