Benjamin Wang
This has been happening recently on my new projects, but whenever I try to insert the analog lab 4 (and 5 now) synth into my projects, the instrument interface just turns up blank. I can interact with the interface and such but it is only showing a blank screen. Also, whenever I try to close the instrument interface, cakewalk becomes unresponsive. I have tried updating my Minilab II but that hasn't helped. Anyone know what could be going on?
Mánibranðr Studios
Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Analog Lab V? Have you tried running the synth standalone?
xClayx
This has been happening with me as well. I can confirm Analog Lab IV and V will open correctly on their own, but I'd like to play their instruments in Cakewalk. Were you able to solve the issue? abacab
What version of Cakewalk? I'm not seeing this with Analog Lab V using the VST2 or VST3 plugins in Cakewalk v2021.01. Using NVIDIA GeForce GPU GTX 1650.
John Ferguson
I've had this exact problem as well with Analog Lab V but not with IV. I've not only reinstalled it, but it's on a brand new PC. It was doing the same on the old one too. The only thing that seems to temporarily fix it is actually restarting the PC. It'll be fine for a bit then *something* (no idea) will cause the UI to go blank again. No special graphics card here - just Intel i7 onboard. abacab
Try running the synth standalone (as was previously suggested).
