I am relatively new to Cakewalk and have a basic question about changing a project's tempo. If I decide to change the project's tempo to something other than the 120 bpm, I have found that even if I insert a new tempo value at the top of the tool bar or select "insert tempo change" at the first measure, inevitably I will find that in various measures in my project I still have the old tempo. Any ideas why this might happen? I am using all MIDI tracks, not audio. I have tried "select all" and entered a new tempo, but the new tempo isn't uniformly applied through every measure.
I am sure I am doing something wrong here, but it seems like if change the tempo value, that tempo should prevail throughout the entire project.

Hi all,

I am sure I am doing something wrong here, but it seems like if change the tempo value, that tempo should prevail throughout the entire project.
Thank you.
