Alejandro
synths should be able to be opened from console view
John Vere
clicking that should open the VST GUI. Is this happening for all synth tracks or just that one. Edited February 20, 2021 by John Vere
Alejandro
that button works in tracks view, I mean that button should also be in console view
57Gregy
While not exactly 'in' the console view, you can open the Synth Rack on the side of the console and access the synth through that.

John Vere
I guess I've never even noticed that. I only use Console view for mixing. A difference might be that I have 2 monitors so track view is always open and with that the Browser and the synth rack too. Like Gregy I use the synth rack a lot. Multi dock views are on the other monitor and either the PVR or the Console view are always open. There are millions of Cakewalk users and you might be the first person looking for that feature to be added. I think it's better to keep the console view uncluttered as possible. It's already too busy. Edited February 20, 2021 by John Vere
Alejandro
that is correct but not very practical, it should have an exclusive button in console view like tracks view has, It may be the only one, it is true, there is a place in the console view by double clicking, but it is a lot of delicacy Edited February 26, 2021 by Alejandro add
