Innervelt is a "Dark Haze Machine" that captures incoming audio and processes it through a Chebyshev waveshaper and an algorithmic space effect. The space effect itself is modulated by a variable sample and hold circuit, causing subtle to dramatic swells and pulses in the dry to wet ratio.

Honestly, the album itself is pretty good ambient/electronic music.  I bought it when it came out, to get Innervelt.  I still haven't tried Innervelt but have listened to the album a few times.
