Matt78
Hi, I am a new user. I was trying to write an odd bass line. I have three 4/4 meters and the fourth one should be cut at 4:03:64, where I insert two 3/4 meters. I tried several options and searched in the web, but I couldn't find a solution. May someone help me? Thanks, Matt
0 Glenn Stanton
pretty sure meter changes would be on the measure line, so if you have 3x 4/4 measures, then want to add 2x 3/4 measures, the 3/4 measures would start on the 4th measure: 4:01:000 and return to 4/4 on 6:01:000 not sure you can do it less than full measures... 0 Matt78
OK, Thank you very much Glenn. If I want to cut a 4/4 meter at a specific point, I found the solution creating a weird meter (like 21/32).

That’s how I do it when I need a weird meter change.
