I think the reason they are doing this is they screwed up user accounts.  I have a login that was saved by Robofom and it doesn't work.  When webmasters start removing account or passwords that when I don't buy.   Whaddya know I had to create a new account.

I was a little concerned/confused over their changing the way they handle the user accounts, but once I reregistered using the exact same email address then all of my previously purchased products were in the account.
