The Analog/Digital options vary the attack and release characteristics of the processor and will vary the ‘colour’ of the output. Switch between them to hear the difference and select what works for you. You will notice that the actual Attack and Release times are fully controllable for each band. This switch has more to do with ‘colour’ or ‘feel’ of the sound. The BB-CMP does not introduce ‘hiss’ or ‘analog noise’ when in the ‘analog’ mode.

It might be worth keeping an eye on them. I remember when Nembrini started out  with one or two plugins. I wondered the same thing... Now I'm buying their stuff (when it's on sale).

I haven't tried BB Comp yet simply because I have no idea how to set it up. After some look, yeah, it's a two band compressor and...What the other bits in the lower middle do? Are they different compression algorithms? Filtering?
