Larry Shelby
The Analog/Digital options vary the attack and release characteristics of the processor and will vary the ‘colour’ of the output. Switch between them to hear the difference and select what works for you. You will notice that the actual Attack and Release times are fully controllable for each band. This switch has more to do with ‘colour’ or ‘feel’ of the sound. The BB-CMP does not introduce ‘hiss’ or ‘analog noise’ when in the ‘analog’ mode. https://babelson.com/shop/bbcmp/ 1

LittleStudios
I've never heard of Babelson, are they legit??
Bruno de Souza Lino
One thing I'll point out is that the plugins have no documentation whatsoever, so you you have to guess what they do.

Haven't tried their products, but I think so. https://babelson.com/ "After many years as a developer for Waves, Thomas Ceyhan struck out on his own last year, and he has already built up an impressive library of plug‑ins under his Babelson Audio label."

It might be worth keeping an eye on them. I remember when Nembrini started out with one or two plugins. I wondered the same thing... Now I'm buying their stuff (when it's on sale). Bruno de Souza Lino
Well, the plugins are on the expensive side of things.

Bruno de Souza Lino
I haven't tried BB Comp yet simply because I have no idea how to set it up. After some look, yeah, it's a two band compressor and...What the other bits in the lower middle do? Are they different compression algorithms? Filtering?
