CHRIS RUTH
Hi, I have 2 mono tracks, neither have clipping (above 0 db), but if i select them both, and then do Track->Bounce to Track, i get clipping. Is this the expected behavior? I thought the maximum output should be the same after bouncing. Thanks in advance.
0 John Vere
You don't want to be anywhere near 0 db- better to be well below that in digital. I try not to go over -0.8 max. And when you mix multiple tracks together they sum to more.
0 tecknot
Hi Chris, Try this thread in which scook (Steve) explains the possibility of the channels being summed.
0 Glenn Stanton
maybe check the stereo panning rule - i'm not sure if that is used when bouncing from a stereo or dual mono clip, or multiple mono clips into a single mono clip, but it might make sense if it was. Hi,
I have 2 mono tracks, neither have clipping (above 0 db),

Thanks in advance.
