Pathfinder Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 So I cannot right click and do this? I can, however do it in Spalt with the SAME midi file? Both are set "Run as Administrator" So I am stumped here. Any ideas? Thanks

Steev Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Your pointer is in the wrong place. Right clicking opens different choices in the drop down menu depending on what you are point at. Make sure your pointer (cursor) is on or near any track # before right clicking to choose "add folder"
Pathfinder Posted December 27, 2018 Author Posted December 27, 2018 (edited) EDIT: Tried a different midi file and it works fine---Very strange. Thanks for the replies.............. Edited December 27, 2018 by Pathfinder
msmcleod Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 It's not the precision of the pointer, it's where it is when you right click. You have to right click on the track view - i.e. in the area where the names, track numbers etc are listed - not on the clip area, and not over a mute, solo, record, FX etc. It might be helpful to post a video clip of what you're seeing. I use ScreenToGif, which creates a fairly small animated GIF of a selected screen area: https://www.screentogif.com/
InstrEd Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I've done it before too and was stumped why it didn't work. Went to bed and next day it did. Sometimes my old eyes playin tricks on me.
aether.roots Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I'm also momentarily stymied by the positional nature of the right-click. It seems to be more variable the later the hour, but that could just be me
