freddy j Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Now this was an interesting idea that you had! This was a bloody long song but breaking it up into various vignettes with differing structures kept me listening the whole way through. I'm not sure why but the clip around the 5:00 minute mark reminded me a bit of the Gang of Four song "Anthrax". I was expecting a second lead voice with different lyrics to come in with the main vocal.
garybrun Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I have listened to quite a few of your songs. To be real honest its not my syle and I find it difficult to listen too.. You definatly have a style of your own that I cant really say I can find a parralel.

Dream Art Scientists Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Pretty wild. I thought it was an interesting piece of music overall!
Bert Guy Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Jesse, This is an amazing suite you have created, here. A crawling, dissonant ballad gives way to a melting, dissonant funk groove gives way to a melting, dissonant rock riff... And there is more. Your ability to marry the lyric with the vocal and instrumental is remarkable. Its all of one piece for sure. This strikes me as an ambitious project that you reeled in. Its a cold bowl of chili when love lets you down. Cheers, Bert
Douglas Kirby Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 You know there was a lot of interesting stuff going on in this - it kept me listening. Made me think of Zappa or Captain Beefheart.
