Matching measures to audio

The old Cakewalk 3 had a feature where you could mark the beats in an audio file and then adjust the measures to match the beats, sort of like a reverse quantize. Is this possible in the current version? I have read the instructions here Cakewalk - Knowledge Base - Finding the Tempo of an Audio Clip,  but this technique can be difficult if the audio track is long or doesn't start exactly on the downbeat, etc.

I think there is a bit that can help in this video. Where he matches the tempo to the inserted clips.

Audio snap does it for you, but it's not a fully automatic process, afaik.
