Abstract Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 (edited) Synthmaster Player ($29 value) is a simplified version of SynthMaster with limited editing capabilities. It is targeted towards users who prefer to use presets rather than designing their own sounds. This is "paid" version with 1800 factory presets (good for upgrades). Regular "always free" Player has only 550 presets. https://www.kv331audio.com/synthmasterplayer.aspx?fbclid=IwAR050o2a4cjeeAq5ISmROWF-jxqq2b5KuVjpaJ7aI43chSDDaOyw9kaIxsw Edited December 3, 2020 by Abstract 1 4
JoeGBradford Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 That's a great deal! I think I paid around £10 for it 1

Man, we've become spoiled with choices!
cclarry Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Of course I just paid $5 for it at Plugin Boutique (as a consolation I did get a free plugin) 1 1
kevin H Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Before I knew better I actually downloaded free synth master player on ipad and took advantage of a sale to buy several preset libraries. I learnt the hard way that any libraries purchased on PC are available in both PC/MAC and iPad/iPhone but not the other way around. So just be aware in case you get lured by the lower cost of presets on your iPad/iPhone and think you can then use them in PC/MAC. I got everything bundle really cheap about a year ago so it’s no longer an issue. But wanted to put it out there just in case. 2 2
abacab Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 The SynthMaster Player has up to 8 Easy Parameter (macro) knobs and 2 X-Y pads assigned per preset. So even though there is no deep preset editing in this version, there is a fair amount of performance control. 1
