Microphone issues

I just downloaded cakewalk onto my laptop and I'm trying to set up my YetiPro Blue mic, along with my headphones. but when I GO TO IMPORT MY MUSIC i CANT HEAR ANYTHING WHAT DID I DO WRONG.

You need to use the headphone jack on the mike. The mike is your interface.

Make sure the audio setup is to the Yeti mic and not an onboard audio chip.

i did that my headphones are plugged into my mic. but when i import a track i donot hear it out of my headset. just me singing. did i screw something up on setting my mic with this or what? and if so how do i change it. help.

Check that the track's output is set to the Yeti.

where would that be im looking and i cant find. can ya walk me through it.

Each track has an input and an output. 

Most use a Master Buss to send the all tracks to and then the Master has an output where you will choose the Yeti. 

If you don't see the Master it is often hidden at the bottom.  Shift B = show hide bus pane.

Expand the track pane to see all of the options.

This is for a MIDI track, but audio tracks also have in/out.
