Steve_Karl
Solved! Hi there, (Sonar Platinum) I really would like to disable the E hotkey that bypasses all FX. I know how to assign my own hotkeys and have quite a few of my own in place, but I can't seem to get the "E" disconnected from that "bypass all FX" button. Can someone walk me through how to do this one? Maybe I'm just missing something about the ones that are built in? Even if it's a registry tweak I'm willing to try it. Thanks! Lord Tim
It's definitely possible - it was annoying me too because I was accidentally bumping it a lot, so I remapped it to Play/Pause. Not sure if it can be entirely disabled but that's a good compromise. There's not a lot to say about how to remap it - if you know how to do it in general, I did it exactly the same way. Not sure if that's much help, but at least it confirms that it's not a locked off thing. But yeah, I'd try and map it to something else rather than trying to unlink it.
synkrotron
Hi Steve, Go to keybindings in preferences and set the search for "do nothing." Then you can assign your E key to that event. cheers andy 1

synkrotron
Sorry, I should explain, choose the key in the left pane that you wish to bind to something else and in the right pane select Do Nothing. Then hit the Bind button. Edited March 11, 2019 by synkrotron
Steve_Karl
Thanks - both of you. Both work. I'm going for the "Do Nothing" option! Problem Solved!

RBH
That's really cool - I never knew there was a do nothing command - and if I ever saw it, I wouldn't have had a clue could be done with it - LOL nice one.
