The new JRR shop website looks very much like the old one.

I don't think that they have converted to the new site yet...

Yes, it can get quite up there.....  especially when you use pitch bends, use both layers and high density settings on the resonators....

Lots of new presets in this release. Plus doubling up engines, which makes for much bigger sounds.

Agreed! ...trying the demo... ?

Wondering if JRR is trustworthy yet?

I got mine from JRR.  No issues.  (Except the serial had to be manually generated - but that's just  a case of  “Patience Grasshopper”)

Yes. It. Is.

Plus I have 10 of the add-on packs for it. The new browser sure is sweet!

The new v3 factory library has 421 sounds, and the remastered v2 factory library has 676 sounds...

Ok, the demo has won me over. I might even end up using this version for something other than when I want a marimba type sound.?

Some of the patches seem a bit cpu heavy though.

I just bought Chromaphone 2 second hand and won't be able to upgrade for some time, but listening to demos I can hear that doubling the engines makes a huge difference in sound. Hopefully there will be sales on the upgrade next year.

Yeah, I noticed this too....more so in this version as they are using two engines.

In the meantime you’ll love Chromaphone 2. It’s their second best instrument, right behind Chromaphone 3.
