darkoverlordofdata
I’ve been in and out of garage bands since 1975, and I’ve recently started playing with Cakewalk. It’s pretty nice. I’m using the Guitar Amps.cwt to generate a session, and I have a problem with the attack. When I hit the string with my pick, I get a gentle attack, almost like bowing the string. A hammer on gets totally lost, I can’t hear it at all. And hitting muted strings I want to hear the percussive click, and I don’t get it. Normally, I can get this on a physical amp by pushing up the gain and backing off on the master volume, and get a raw rock and roll sound with a lot of attack. How do I get that in Cakewalk? William W. Saunders, Jr.
How are you getting your guitar signal into Cakewalk? What are you plugging it into and what kind of input is it? That is probably where the problem lies, not in Cakewalk. Edited October 21, 2020 by William W.
