0 Kev Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Was there any audio in the project? MIDI-only projects don't take up much space.
0 msmcleod Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 (edited) If you did record audio, and you didn't check the "Copy all audio with project" setting when you saved it, e.g.: Then your audio will be saved in your global audio folder, as specified in your preferences: To find out what the actual audio files are, select Project->Audio Files from the menu: This will bring up a dialog, showing all the audio files used by your project: Edited March 4, 2019 by msmcleod 1

0 kook Posted March 4, 2019 Author Posted March 4, 2019 copy all audio is always checked..and i posted a pic of. Project/ audio files from dropdown menu
0 Johnbee58 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I always back up my projects to an external drive like a flash drive or an external USB drive. There are also cloud storage services. Then you can remove your big project folders from your main HDD and free up space. Since you do all audio your folders will be pretty big but external storage devices are getting bigger as well (in capacity, not physical size). ?John B.
