This actually impressed me so much including how powerful the UVI player can be and how it's libraries are high quality especially from 3rd parties like VI Labs. One of the reasons I invested in Falcon and it more than delivered! Using Falcon you can even edit this library and add the many effects it has and modulations on top of what is already provided! ?

Combine this with synthesis? Make granular piano pads? It can get as simple or crazy as you want. ?

Fantastic deal. I got this when they ran it before. All 3 pianos sound and play great, and are quite different from each other.

Is there a downside?

Yes!

You'll become VERY impatient waiting for their Ravenswood 275 library to go on sale. I had to wait a LONG time, but it was worth it!

I'm tempted by this, as I really like their Modern U...but I have grands I like (e.g., Garritan CFX; Noire; other NIs/Sampletekks/Pianoteq) and was holding out for Ravenscroft on Black Friday.

Anyone want to convince me this will give me something I don't already have?

Not really, although there’s a Fazioli (“Italian”) in there you won’t have yet. Better wait for Ravenscroft then.
