Riccardo66
Dear All, I have recently purchased the Amplesound Martin Acoustic Guitar plugin, and I am using it with Cakewalk. According to the Amplesound instructions, I should anticipate the Instrument track time by 50 milliseconds to compensate for the normal plugin delay. Of course, the command to be used is DAW-specific, and in Cakewalk the feature to be used for that purpose appears to be the "Time+" feature. I have checked the Cakewalk manual before writing here, and I did find a reference to such feature; the problem is that I cannot find it in my DAW! To the best of my knowledge, I looked *everywhere* but there is no way to locate it. Any help would be very appreciated! Best regards
msmcleod
If you're using per output or simple instrument tracks, make sure you're on the MIDI tab: 1
Andres Medina
...and to access this menu, press I or open the Inspector Tab, usually located at the left side of the track View. You should select your instrument track on the Track Pane to see the corresponding controls. 1
Panu Pentikäinen
Note that Cakewalk has built-in automatic plugin delay compensation and normally you don't need to adjust MIDI tracks manually for sync purposes. You can turn plugin delay compensation off by clicking down the PDC button found in control panel. 1

michheld
There's one good reason to use this feature with a negative value, if possible: To let the Strings of a plugin start a little bit earlier to sound more realistic ?
