Jono J Grant Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 I have a file that requires a large buffer size - 2048, and there is a fair amount of plugins and delay compensation going on. The video I'm running goes out of sync because of the delay compensation, is there a way to have the video respond to it? Trying to adjust the trim time of the video doesn't work as I'd need a negative value which it doesn't have. Thanks J
Jono J Grant Posted October 16, 2020 Author Posted October 16, 2020 Does anyone have an answer for this? Thanks
LarsF Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 What I did to remedy similar issue - I took the video into PowerDirector(or any video editor) and offset it in timeline 8s, just about bar 5 in Cakewalk default. Then rendering this, it will not re-render video to reduce quality using smart rendering, but inserts black frames at start of timeline before video start. This way trim will work as in your case when imported into Cakewalk. Just adjust to sync with scenes or lipsynk you need. I zoomed in to individual frames, and then set bar 5 exactly on first frame - since I start projects at bar 5 for various reasons.
