cclarry Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Top 50 plugins on sale and I had a $50 Voucher added to my account https://www.uaudio.com/uad-plugins/all-plugins.html
Piotr Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Larry, Larry, how many UAD plugins have you already grabbed ? 1

What attracts me to UA things is definitive solution for latency problems and using extensive plugs even during recording . But happily for me even to start lots of $ needed. But crossing fingers for you And I beg you don't sell your guitars to buy plugins 1
cclarry Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 I decided to get the Friedman Buxom Betty. It was on sale for $99 and I had a $25 Voucher that expired today, which, combined with the $50 Voucher that I got today gave me $75 off, for a price of $24. Nothing else (that I could afford) really interested me, and I don't have any Friedman Amp sims. I use the Friedman BE-OD Deluxe Limited Edition on my Pedal Board, and really like it... so that was what pushed me that way... As Geraldine used to say "The Devil made me to it!" ?
cclarry Posted March 2, 2019 Author Posted March 2, 2019 Oh yeah...and I'll get another $25 for the purchase, So it was kinda FREE! LOL

Zo Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Larry has grown faster than us lol Larry do you own an interface or just dsp , i m still thinking about an appolo for broadcast i need to make it right soon ...

cclarry Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 Yes Zo. And most of the Channel Strips have the Unison Technology, where the plugin directly integrates with the Preamp in the Interface The UAD Plugins are the most "analogue" clear sounding plugins I've ever used. They don't sound like other plugins. They definitely sound better IMO.
Zo Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Yep i have an octo , i know they sound great mainly due to oversampling and also good modeling , my concern is for live broadcast , will i go digital with an apollo or grab myself a channel strip like the isa 430 mkii for exemple dat has it all , or a spl summit ect ...
Michael Vogel Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 I got rid of my UAD stuff a few years back now. Just too expensive. As I had a big investment in Waves plugins, I got into the Waves Digigrid system and haven’t looked back since.
