Schoeps Double MS throwing an error in last 2 updates

I'm presently running 2020.09, and marking it "Disabled".
With one of the last 2 or 3 updates, Schoeps Double MS started throwing this warning/error (screenshot attached).   "The failure point was reported as:  release"

Try temporarily moving that VST 3 plugin to a folder that is not in the VST scan paths for plugins, and see if the VST 2 version of the plugin works.
