you think $100 is too much? My guess is they will always hover around $100 just the size will get bigger. By  the time it drops to $30 you will want a 10T drive. When was the last time you thought you needed to buy a brand new 80gb drive?

Yes, you've made my point. a 10T SSD at that point would be about $300. I'd pay that.
