Enjoying my Waldorf Largo, so this is quite welcome. Don’t own a good vocoder yet.

You don't have VocalSynth?  ?  Thought I knew you...
(or maybe you don't regard it as a good vocoder)

Exactly :)

VocalSynth 2 is fine but I’m not into robotic or similar vocal wizardry.
I do like a sound design approach, though, so Waves Ovox or this Waldorf Lector are my kind of vocal plugins.
And since I loathe WUP ...

Love that sidechain input, and the stereo chorus / flanger.

I recently picked up Ovox but haven't had a chance to touch it.
Not questioning the quality of Lector which does look interesting - wondering if you have you checked out

Saw that, thanks. Sadly only for Windows. Already checked out some Lector reviews. Definitely up my alley.

their website is so messed up.  i added to my cart an it gave me offer to add Largo as well. i added the Largo, then it offered to give me Studio 808 at a heavy discount. I added that as well. Then I removed Largo since I already have it and it removed the Studio 808. :(

That's funny. Why did you add Largo, since you already had it? Experimental shopping? You could write to them and ask about getting Studio 808 discounted.

Largo showed up automatically when i added Lector. Then 202 showed up automatically when I added Largo.

it doesn't really matter. Basically what it is is, it's added to my act at the discounted price if I had used my virtual cash. So its just being able to buy it without having to use my virtual cash. But I have so much virtual cash that I dont know what to do with it.
