mibby
It looks like their other plugins are specific to their mics, but not this one? Great find Lars!

This one too...Pairing the Neumann KU100 – reference for binaural capture – with the newly released AMBEO Orbit plugin you gain full flexibility and control over your binaural recording
mibby
I found this after posting. From user Lorenz_Ambeo on KVR (off the link on the Sennheiser page): Quote Orbit is not tied to hardware in any way, so you can use with any equipment. It is intended for use in a DAW. https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=294&t=536218 Edited September 3, 2020 by mibby

Александр Соколов
The Neumann KU 100 is binaural dummy head microphone using the reference head model. so the Orbit just uses the HRTF model of this reference dummy head to decode the signal to binaural audio. So you do not need the KU 100 at all. But be careful working with binaural effects: it is not stereo, so you can get phase issues in your master. 2
